I've been the Regional Karate Instructor for the Newcastle branch of GKR Karate since 2012. In this role it is my priviledge to oversee the Instructors and students of this area as they grow in their karate together. I am a traditionalist at heart and value etiquette and respect in martial arts, but I'm also a keen believer that Karate should be fun. I encourage a relaxed but respectful dojo environment.

I put this Blog together as a way to document the various achievements of the students of my region and also to impart any lessons and information that I think may be relevant to my students at the time - Enjoy !
